While drinking ice-cold beer they decided that fraternity will refer to the culture of
Medieval Europe, especially to the culture of Vikings and Slavs.
The purpose of Ulvborg Hird ( as they called the fraternity) was to be:
participation in medieval festivals of different types, organization of fight shows
and most of all- good fun.
Group from time decided to reconstruct part of the Scandinavian armies king Boleslaw.
Group was formed by 3 people but with time others joined.
Jarl and Hevding are responsible for representative matters, organization and equipment.
Regarding costumes and additional equipment, great stress was placed on historic
compatibility.
Skills in fighting are constantly improved by systematic exercise in gym or outdoors.
Fighting training involves swords, axes or scramasaxes, all with or without shield.
We are celebrate the main festivals in the calendar of Vikings and Slavs.
